Lip blushing is a non-permanent cosmetic tattooing procedure that involves depositing pigments in your lips with the help of small needles. While also sometimes called lip tattooing, it’s more of a body modification rather than traditional tattoo art. Lip blushing focuses on changing the colour and shape of
the lips to make them appear younger. Everyone’s lips are unique, and there is no universal standard of beauty. Lip blushing, on the other hand, may be of interest if you want to improve the look or colour of your lips.

- How long will the result last? Although results vary from person to person, your results will last for somewhere around 2 and 5 years after your initial session and touch up. Widely from person to person and desired look, additional touch-ups may be required. Permanent makeup ink is not the same as body art ink, so it is not intended to last as long.
- DO I STILL NEED TO WEAR LIPSTICK? CAN OTHER COLORS STILL APPEAR THE SAME ON TOP? It is up to each individual to achieve the desired look. The colours we use in our clinic are all natural and are meant to look that way. We can certainly enhance your natural colour, add colour if it is lacking, or add a specific tint that you desire, but it will always be soft and natural. That way, if you decide to switch things up and wear lipstick, it’ll still look fantastic over top and cover your tattoo with whatever colour we decide to use.
